Hope you are all doing good J Its good to be back after a really long time.. Hope you all still remember me J
If you already follow me on Instagram, you would know that I was recently bitten by this ‘Beauty Box Bug’, that I went insane and ordered almost all available boxes from all possible locations J
‘My Envy‘ was one easy magnet that grabbed my attention instantly and since the hype was little over too much with all the ‘Invite only box’ tag which obviously made me all curious and despite of the heavy price tag, I still went ahead and clicked the ‘Request Invite’ button! **Darn my decision!!**
I requested for an Invite on October 29th and I received an email from them on November 4th saying that my wait is over and I can grab my subscription!! To feed my curiosity they had added an extra line that said “We have limited subscriptions available, so don’t delay — we will hold your subscription for 5 days but after that, we may release it to the next person in line.” So I promptly followed the link and placed my order the very same day!
I got the box on 13th November and all I could say is.. oh wait I dont have anything to say.. just look at the pics and you will understand yourself!
So here is the deal.. When you subscribe ‘My Envy‘ box, you would receive a ‘luxurious box’ with 5 beauty samples to try.. you also get 25% off your order money back as envy points which you can later use it to shop from their website online store. You get points for inviting your friends as well. From the subscription & orders we place, 1% of the share is donated to Elle Breast cancer campaign!
The single month subscription cost Rs.850, 3 – Months – Rs.2225, 6 – Months – Rs.4350 and 1 year – 8500
You can click here to visit the website and request for an invite!
I got the following stuff in my box,
1. L’occitane Hair care kit (Volumizing Shampoo, conditioner & mask sachets)
2. L’occitane Cleansing & refreshing cloth sachet
3. Davidoff Cool Water – Sea Rose (Woman) sample vial – 1.2 ml
4 Clarins – Extra firming wrinkle lifting cream – All types (3 sachets)
5. Phytometer Complexion recovery cream – 5 ml tube
6. Avene Cleanance Mask – 10 ml tube
7. A pack of playing cards from L’occitane
The Good – Excellent packaging, the card board box with a magnetic snap closure is definitely a luxury material! The whole packaging to me looked appealing and gets a big thumbs up!
Detailed Information cards on each product, the no of usages per sample, the price of the full sized units are worth a mention!
The Bad – Need more variety, may be a mix of makeup, skincare, hair care, bath & body etc.,
Products to suite individuals skin, hair type etc., would be more appreciated than using some random sample that says ‘suitable for all types’ – Not a safe bet!
So here is my only concern, I paid 850 bucks expecting some decent sized sample products which I would not otherwise get it free from any store! almost 60% of what I got are sachets which are no good for a second time usage! I would at least want to try a product minimum 3 to 4 times esp skin care to conclude if it really works on my skin and if I like that stuff!
Moreover whenever I place my online order with L’occitane, I get a lot of free samples from them.. better than the ones I received in this box!
And to cap it all a pack of cards!! – like seriously?! I would have been much happier If I had seen a complimentary pouch or an eye lash curler or even a mirror! (Anything Girly <3)
Overall I am not very happy with the stuff I received. Not sure if I would want to give it a try one last time before I conclude anything!
So girls what do you say? Do you think this box is worth the money? or would you be happy If you had received something like this for 850 bucks! Do share your thoughts in the comments section below, I would like to hear them <3 J
Take care and stay gorgeous <3
