Hey ya ladies! This is my first post on Glitter and Gorgeous and my second guest blogging I have ever done ;). That shows how tempting the prizes are for this awesome giveaway, even for a lazy procrastinator like me.
And oh yes, I am on an overload of Dove shampoos and conditioners, so thought of sharing my views on the Dove Damage Therapy Intense Repair Shampoo with you all here.
WHAT IT CLAIMS:
This Damage Therapy Intense Repair Shampoo is enriched with ingredients like micro moisture serum and fiber actives. Fibre activeshelp in restoring damaged hair and also strengthens dry and dull hair. The micro moisture serumpenetrates the finest breaks of the cuticle for intense conditioning. It nourishes your hair from the root to the tip and protects it against damage. Dove Hair Therapy prevents your hair from breakage, leaving it it strong and resilient. There can be nothing better than this Damage Solutions Intense Repair Shampoo to cleanse your hair.
Like all the dove shampoos I have used till date, this one too worked only partially for me. It comes in the standard dove packaging in flip-top cap bottle. It is medium thick in texture with a pearly shine. Lathers and cleanses hair well, making hair soft to touch.
Also, it adds volume to hair, i.e. hair feels thicker. But it fails to provide much shine like other shampoos and makes hair look dull. And I didn’t see any reduction on my frizz. It helps in easy detangling of hair though. I have been using it over two weeks, but I didn’t see any noticeable change other than the lack of shine :P.
WHAT I LIKED:
- Has moisturizing properties that makes hair soft to touch.
- Helps in easy detangling, leading to less hair breakage.
- Comes in flip top cap packaging, which is sturdy and travel friendly.
- Priced economically for the quantity.
- Easily available.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE:
- Makes my hair look dull and flat.
- Doesn’t work on the frizz.
As much as I love the Dove conditioners, their shampoos never quite make me happy. So this definitely isn’t on my HG list. But, it isn’t all that bad too. A moderate shampoo that would work better on dry hair than oily hair if you don’t expect any miracle out of it. 😉
