Traditional Arabian Style Green eye makeup tutorial

A Sleek & Inglot Giveaway Entry by Upasana (Entry # 4)

Hi all

Today I will be doing a simple green eye makeup, but with an entwine, i.e. with an Arabian style liner, that separates the look from being boring simple to being a glam+traditional. The colors I picked up are green, a peachy-bronzy color, and golden. This look can possibly be paired up with a green saree, with a peachy/gold combination, or a sharara etc, anything.

So let’s start the tutorial

I started by priming lids with a white eye pencil, and blended it whole up to the brow bone to provide a uniform coverage. Using a white base helps in intensifying the shadows and brings out true color to a great extent. After that I applied a green shadow with gold hues with a flat brush, starting from the outer corner and up to the middle of the eye.

After that I flipped the flat brush, and through its other side I patted some peachy shadow where I left the green, i.e. in the inner part, leaving some space for the highlight.

After that I picked up a charcoal colored shadow, and using it with the help of a fluffy crease brush, added some depth to the eye, by following the shape of eye. I blended it with a clean brush.

Then I used a small flat brush to help place the golden shadow on the very inner corner of the eye. This will help in highlighting your eye. Using a big brush I used the same shadow but in a lesser amount to highlight the brow bone.

At last I lined my eyes and made a thin flick out, using the same liner I drew a very tiny flick just below the previous wing. Then I filled up my eyes with a black kajal, and using a flat angled brush I brushed some black eyeshadow along the lower lash line to add a soft precision. Finished it using mascara J

This is how it looks in daylight
